14 minute gameplay video given to reporters. It has no commentary (which is a good thing IMO) and shows some stuff not shown in the trailer.

We now know the requirements, they seem rather reasonable:

MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 7 or 10
Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K or AMD FX-8310
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 or AMD Radeon RX 470
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 70 GB available space
Additional Notes: SSD recommended

RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 10
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
Memory: 12 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon R9 Fury
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 70 GB available space

Obviously max settings will probably crush even the newest hardware. I wonder, why post Windows 7 if you require DirectX 12? It's either a typo and they meant 11 or there's a way to get DirectX 12 running reliably in Windows 7.

Granted I rarely play a high end game but ... this is the first time I see an SSD recommended for the min requirement. Wonder what the load time gonna be for people who on normal drive.

I think it might be for in-game loading, those without an SSD might see a lot of texture pop-up.

Exactly my thoughts. I've recently started FO4 again after transfer to an M.2 SSD. Now I can rush into the city (Bunker Hill area) without any lag/missing textures. Never expected that an SSD makes such a big difference.

Bugger, I upgraded my 7 year old CPU/mobo/RAM two weeks ago... turns out they would have been ok! Oh well, having shiny new PC parts isn't the end of the world... :D

Makes a hell of a difference, doesn't it. It's one of the easiest upgrades you can make that has an immediately obvious benefit! :D

Yeah, this seems to be about the ****** consoles. I'm glad I canceled my preorder after the first delay (was that April?). I suspect that the game has been ready for months.

What is "google stadia"? :gruebel:

Anyway, I'm sad as well for yet another delay - but I should be able to hold my breath a while longer. "Luckily" there is still a lot to do @work, so it won't get boring until december.

Online game streaming service. Of course, you could have just Googled that. :D

I somehow don't think Stadia could ever work: playing by stream? Are you mad? What about lags? A 50ms lag after pushing a button to jump in Super Mario means death, imagine how crucial are those instants in modern titles...

Game streaming services work pretty well, actually. I haven't tried Stadia specifically, but I've tried Nvidia's (arguably better, as it just lets you log into your Steam/etc accounts and play your games), and even twitchy games were eminently playable. Ping times will vary depending on your connection, but times of well under 50ms are achievable on good home internet connections (I get about 15ms to Google's servers). Some particularly twitchy games support feeding control input in on a historical basis to counter network lag in multiplayer as well (e.g. fighting games) - I have no idea if Stadia does this on any games, though!

I'm not gonna be replacing my gaming PC with Nvidia streaming any time soon, but at the same time I wouldn't by any means be averse to using it if I was gonna be stuck somewhere without my gaming PC but with a decent internet connection for a while.

That actually helped me a lot! I could in theory run Cyberpunk with my PC, but it would be on low settings. This seems like a cheap and good alternative, so thanks for that. :)

I would definitely suggest trying streaming services on some other games before committing to them for Cyberpunk, but it's definitely worth a shot. With Nvidia's Geforce Now service, you can use it for free with a few limitations (queuing/time limited play sessions/lower graphics settings), and as I mentioned it uses your existing Steam/etc library (not GOG though!) so you don't have to buy games for it. The paid version is also only $5 a month. (This would also give you the option of buying Cyberpunk on Steam and trying both local and streamed versions.) Stadia is more of a commitment as you have to actually buy games for Stadia, although you can get a trial of the subscription, which comes with access to some games, so you can also see how that performs without spending anything.

I tried Geforce now today and it worked brillantly even though I right now only have 50mbits download rate. That however won't be a problem when Cyberpunk comes out as by the end of this week I will have a new connection with up to 1gig download speed per second, so that should be enough. Ironically I will also save some money as the new contract is oddly enough cheaper than what I currently have.

It's not as noticeable for a single player title. There will be teething issues with it if cyberpunk ever goes multiplayer.

I don't know, I'm still not trusting play-by-stream services, mainly because I live in Italy and large bandwidth is utopia in most places, with quite instable ping times. I mean: I can watch a 4k movie with no issues, but playing Tetris with keylags of 100+ milliseconds would be really hard.
