Important question... should I finish the last Deus Ex now that I was reminded of it
Late answer. You can buy the original Deus Ex and then dowload the GMDX (Give Me Deus Ex) mod. Do not run from original .exe but rather from GMDX .exe. Configure renderer to Direct3D 10 support and limit your FPS to 60. I think the game runs well on pretty much any hardware, I'm running it now on an RX 580 but I also ran it on an ATI Radeon 4850 (I think that one ran better with the Direct3D 9 option in "renderer"). Playing Deus Ex now is like rewatching The Empire Strikes Back. Sure, The Last Jedi has a clearer image and better special effects but you can't beat a classic. Similarly, Deus Ex doesn't look as good as Ghost Recon Breakpoint or even Fallout 76 but...
I really struggle to take anything or anyone serious when they have a good thing to say about Fallout 76, even if it is just to say how good it looks.

Lol, yes. Bethesda and bugs go together like bread and butter, or Wall Street and prostitution rings.

Now delayed from April 2020 to September 2020. :(

Gutted - was looking forward to playing it before my second child arrives in mid May!

There seem to be a lot of people online (not you, obviously!) going nuts about this, and I don't understand why. I'd rather they delayed it six months to make sure it's as good as they can get it, rather than release early and maybe dilute the experience.

Agreed; there have been some OTT reactions from the news! I guess the hype gets the better of some people, however given the fact that CDPR have been ominously quiet with regards to marketing etc. it was kind of obvious that things were not going to plan. I won't lie though, I did let out a very Darth Vader-y "NoooOOOoooooOOOOo" when I read the news last night; my wife thought someone had died! :D

Fingers crossed they will drip feed us more videos/screenshots as a consolation prize!

The delay on the other hand might be good for people waiting (me :P) for the new gpu generation to appear to upgrade before the game is released.
I am still rocking a gtx970 and would have probably had some issues with the game on that card.

I've got an RX570 and I have no intention of upgrading it anytime soon, so if the game won't run on that I'm not playing it!

The RX does at least have 8gb Vram, so this should not be a large obstacle for you :)
The gtx970 only has 4 (only of which are 3,5gb really usable) and will probably struggle with a new title. Lets see what the specs for Cyberpunk are, and then ill decide.

6 Months, they are moaning that the game is being delayed for 6 months, meanwhile the original backers of scam citizen have been waiting 6 years after the promised launch of the game, 6 months is nothing.

Delaying the release is the right thing to do, especially after a year and a bit with the likes of the launch of Fallout 76, Anthem and others being released far too early and not to mention that the programmers and testers would have to be overworked to get some kind of release. Nope if it's not ready, then they are doing the right thing. Besides weren't CDPR criticised for having a pretty heavy crunch for the release of Witcher 3.

Again, completely agree felter. I'd rather wait for a better product to play (even though I'll be heavily sleep deprived!)

I think the collective has also forgotten that The Witcher 3 was a state at launch. A bit of extra time will hopefully avoid the same happening here. :)

No, it's only a 4Gb card? RX570s were available with 8Gb, but I didn't get one of those.

While one has been waiting the game since 2012 some months more shouldn't be a problem. Playing Star Citizen, X4 and board games are enough to fill my waiting time. My interest on Cyberpunk 2077 has been going doing down more they have shown the game so I hope there has been some big changes done after the presented demos.

Indeed, I'm one of them :-)
Problem is my MoBo, still on sandybridge (socket 1155) and the best cpu for that would be the Intel i7-2700k. Lesser problem is my gfx: Min. requirement
for Cyberpunk is the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti but the best I can do with my current setup is the Radeon RX 5700 XT.

So, I got another 6 months to gather enough cash for a full upgrade (new MoBo included ofc).

I doubt the rumours about an i7 and 1080 Ti being the minimum are true - I can completely believe the dev version when those rumours came out needed those sort of specs, but nobody is going to release a game with minimums that strict. Look at the Steam hardware survey - you're looking at maybe 5% of the market that can manage that.

Agreed, a 1080ti as minimum would also not fit to the lore, that they want to push the game out for ps4 and the xbox.
Lets wait and see when the new GPUs are coming, and if they are any good.

There has been a suggestion that the reason for the delay in the game is so they can launch it nearer to the launch of the PS5 and whatever-the-heck the next-gen XBox will be called, because they have the horsepower to really show it off properly. I suspect people might be thinking back to GTA5 there, which was delayed by a few months from its original release date on XBox 360 and PS3 for "polish", then a year later they released the enhanced edition for PS4 and XBox One.

Cyberpunk 2077 is delayed again, I really wanted to play this :(. The original release date would've been the best, during the quarantine.

Coincidentally much closer to the launch dates of the new consoles. I know of a few people who were hesitant to buy the game in September on the older consoles.

I've just put a refund request in with GOG. I pre-ordered this over a year ago, and this latest delay is enough. (Yes, I know I shouldn't have pre-ordered it and it's my stupid fault for getting sucked into the hype).

I'll buy it, but when it's cheaper.
