The passing of this well known feline is sad indeed.

However, seeing as the "real name" is referenced I feel it worth reminding people of the story behind it.
The cats original name was "Tard". . . and give the animals appearance its not exactly hard to guess why the owners chose that name.
Once she started to gain internet fame, they realised how this made them look (like the A-holes they are) and it was hastily retconned as short for "Tardar Sauce". . . . which as can be seen from the spelling is a stretch to say the least.
The owners are, in light of their choice of naming a pet after a slur, likely not very pleasant people at all. . . . . . don't give them any attention and or money.

Can't you SJW types just let the rest of us have something? Is nothing sacred at all? The world is a darker place now for knowing that grumpy cat is gone. She joins Harambe now. We struggle on in a grim world with their spirits in our memories.
Who made that man a gunner?

Interesting. Might be too late though, they made some money off his appearances.

Good looking cat though he was. RIP indeed.

Predictable response is predicable.
And to answer your question: No.
