I was playing Suicidal Squid on Linux and had about 30 hours of play invested.
The game shut down unexpectedly when I ejected some missiles and now my game is gone when I tried to reload.
I'd really like my DiD game back.
Can I get my DiD game back?

Re: Can I get my DiD game back?
You can't. Instead of just Dead is Dead, it's also Crashed is Dead, Power Outage is Dead, etc. Could probably cheat by backing up saves before loading though, but I haven't tried that one. But that game is gone gone.
Re: Can I get my DiD game back?
Thank you, I was afraid that might be the case. Note to Self - Save mental anguish by never playing Crashed is Dead.
It double sucks because I saved over my main play file with a test scenario too ( that one was on me though ).
