Thrustmaster HOTAS-x V.2 issue w/ throttle.

I have an issue where the throttle does not function but the stick seems to work fine.
The opening screen shows what looks like an X-box controller even tho it shows the HOTAS in the gameplay setup.
I have an Intel PC (3.8 Ghz, 16G) and an Nvidia GTX660 video card.
X2: The Threat works fine.
Is there a patch for this?

Try with 'use throttle' deselected in the opening small splash screen 'Input Device' settings options. Yes, that sounds illogical but works for some sticks at least. (If it is already deselected then try with it ticked.)

In the same Input Device options you can turn off showing that controller image if you don't want to see it.
