1.2 update

changes to payouts
streamlined for less cpu load
bugfixes
now attaches to secondary signals making safer for use of other scripts utilising signals
menu interface at pirate bases showing kills of race ships in their core sectors.
No longer writes to player logbook if logging is enabled but writes to log file 8831 in mydocs/egosoft from now on.
uninstaller (turn the plugin off) up to **forcegrip** standards

changes to payout

I'm open to feedback but now the initial baseline value is 100th of the price of the ships (checked through my lib scripts, so install them!), There are many magical values after this but that's where the costing now starts instead of pre-defined values for object classes.

Ah - I failed to install the library, that's probably the cause...

The update sounds good, I have so much to learn.

So what's up with this pirate bank thingy. I killed a couple argon discos in argon prime and the 7k didn't come to me.

Do I have to go collect it from somewhere?

If i remember correctly you need to dock at a pirate station first.

I've been using 1.1 forever and love it. I tried updating to 1.2 and downloaded the spk version. The spk installer says TC.Bountyboost.1.2 but once the plugin manager tries installing it it says it's version 1.1 and updated a long time ago. Anyone else having this problem? I followed all the steps to uninstall 1.1.

It's a typo on the 1.2 install info, if the spk is 1.2 it's fine

Any way or at least future intentions to make the script write to the player log again? I liked that feature...

I agree with woolridge - personally I prefer external logfiles for bug hunting, crash analysis or something in that direction, but if it's game-related, it should be available in-game, respectively. :)

I never used the v1.1 version, but if those log entries served a purpose beyond tracking bugs or issues, it would probably be nice to have them available directly in-game..

In case of doubt, one could always let users choose whether to write the log to an external text file, or alternatively to the player's log in-game, through a plugin configuration option?

FYI, the download for "LV's Lib Scripts" is marked as "deprecated" on the Google code site. If you need to download it, make sure to search for "lib" under "deprecated downloads".

At least, I think there should be an option to allow the player to choose whether he wants that information in his game log or not.

I liked to see who of my men destroyed what and how much he did earn for me. You know, for medals, commendations and all that :)

i'm specially interested in this question.

Are the payouts, a modification for the normal payouts (with license)?, or can i accumulate and use both to earn more money?

When everybody says u need to dock in the pirate base to earn the money, is for all users, or only for pirates?, because i'm doing a game playing as a mercenary.

Thanks, if i can use this script with xtended surely i will use it ^^

unless xtm code is trying to do the same thing it should work.

I honestly can;t remember if all payouts come from docking at pirate bases or just some

This AL plugin is compatible with TC 3.1 I take it?

Because I wondered, there was a nice little gap between the post dates and the original plugin is from last year.
Just to be sure before I break something.

Also, how is scaling done, for example how much credits could a M2 kill wield if I was sitting in a M5 (lucky shot or missile spam on Patrol Mission Xenon K for example).

And how much money would we get if I sit out a Khaak Invasion in my M2 flak'ing away all those scouts.

Is there a equation you could give us?
