I really liked the script.
Gave the game a strategic point of view.
I just was wondering if its possible to limit the races going through the game... Or at least tax every non-player ship that goes through the gate.

I want to ask, what is the size of the gate in the cargo and what type is it?

because if its to small then I wont use it because of balance issues... an ST or min an XL cargo and a lot of space should be the min, even if its miniaturized...

because even the smallest gate is bigger then the biggest ship ingame ^^"

filefactory sucks !

Have tried to download this file from filefactory for 3 straight days but the server is always too busy. Of course if I want to buy a Premium Account I can download the file immediately.

Maybe it would be a good idea to load the file up at filefront and there's a link to it in the top post of the Mod/Script Library.

I was able to dl it..

load and reload game.. and tried it..

uhhhhhhhh. could you please host on a different site. I do not want to get a PREMIUM ACCOUNT on filefactory just to download your mod..... i mean.... ive been trying for about an hour now...... please change to filefront or something that makes sense.

I was unaware of any premium's needed to be payed from filefactory, I think having a premium account only removed the 30 second delay from being able to download it.

Never the less, I've changed the site I host the mod on to filefront

Very nice, thanks for this! I was trying to figure out a way to tweak either the Super Tractor script to let me carry gate wrecks through a jump or use the cheat scripts to let me create gate wreckage so I could create links at will using the DUAR script. Now I don't have to!

Now I will create my own little universe. the hub will be linked to the West gate of Bala Gis, the West gate of Brennans, and the east gate of Nopileos's. It will become a fortress protected by multiple OWPs and Ring of Fire laser tower emplacements. Then I'll (cheat) destroy all the gates linking pirate/yaki/unknown space to the rest off the universe and link them all through Brennans, Freedom's Reach and Olmanketslats. I will have every non race sector completely under my control!!!!


MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!


My other twisted plan is to delete the links into and out of every race captial, and then recreate them but adding in a little detour through Kha'ak and Xenon systems. Or put Kingdoms end right next to Familly Pride and watch the fun!

i have a problem with the script jumppont v1.3

every time i run the command it says "you have no flat packs installed"
i have tried it with 1, 2, 4, 100, and 200 flat packs in the ship.
atm i am running v2.7.1

the script has worked once.

can anybody help with this one?

Ran into a problem with this script. Once I updated to Cycrows latest version of Plugin Manager Lite I started getting the Jumppoint Flatpack ware listed as "ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM17_18".

I know that EMP has been updated and that some of the wares were moved around. I discovered the the ware mentioned above and the ware name in the Text page now have mismatched "NameID's". i.e. - The scripts Text page calls one ID, EMP is calling a different ID, so the script can't find the proper line of text to put the name into the game.

Also, the EMP ware with the correct NameID for this script package is being used be "Boarding Transporter Extension" I believe that is Cycrows "Improved Boarding" script.

This problem will not show up if you use an older version of EMP or Plugin Manager Lite. (Believe I'm correct on this)

I had to edit the scripts on my system to point them to a new EMP ware,
Which also ment editing the text page for the script as well. But, things seem to be fine now.

I would also like an updated version of this... I very much enjoyed building my own mega-drug sector and building jumpgates to link it around the entire universe.

Adapting it to work with the new EMP or even without it is not that difficult. The problem is that BinaryBoy is nowhere to be found. And no permission, no script.
Split say NEED MORE FIREPOWER!!

sorry for the delay, it's been a while since I checked the forums

hopefully this Jumppoint131.spk will fix it. I re-edited the scritps that use the wares and should remove any ware using the ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM17_18 string from the OTAS shipyard.

I'll be investigating this problem a bit more, so all feedback is welcome.
