This is a call out (again) for someone to convert the X-BTF & X-Tension ships to .xsp format.

I ask because I miss the Discoverer from X-Tension.

Ah this is useful, I've looked for XSP's for TC all in one place was not much success before. Thanks.

I wouldn't mind knowing the stats of each ship beforehand, but that might be too much of a pain. So it's a case of download and see.

If you want to see the stats, look at the source for each ship (links near bottom of OP)
I didn't put stats & descriptions in because even with just the links, it would be a long post.
If the source is a thread on this forum, please do a search for it.
If the source is OTH = Other, ask me (stating which ship) and I'll post the link to it,
but the OTH ships tend to not have stats available.

it depends which game u have installed the ships in.

if its X3TC there should be no plugin manager mod to use.

however, if its Reunion, then you need to use it, and it must be as a proper mod, not as a fake patch.
To get this to work, there are 2 options, either rename your current mod and use that as a fake patch, or before opening the plugin manager, make sure the mod you are using is selected from the game loader, then the plugin manager will combine the mods together.

this is only a tempoarary work around, the next version will be able to handle Reunion properly the same way it works for TC

UPDATE
I have now started adding links to screenshots.
I will add them as & when I download the ship and put it in a game.

If anyone wants to see a screenshot of any ship on the list, please ask me and I'll add it to the list asap.

I am currently adding more ships to list.
I edit it as a text file as it's easier to do that way than it is to edit it in that little Edit window.
When I add more ships to the OP, it will be a HUGE number of added ships.

I have put up some *** Coming Soon *** to show what is coming.

UPDATE
I have now added A LOT more ships.
The list is now nearly DOUBLE in size (I think).

If anyone can find a bigger list all in one place, let me know.

In my signature there's all the wing commander ships I imported into X3:Reunion... Though they probably aren't up to the quality of the other ships in this post.

Some of the ships (namely the tallahassee, southampton, clarkson and caernaven) have horrible appearances in-game in TC for some reason (black squares, green squares, distorted colors)... I haven't really had the time to fix it though (not that I actually know how to @.@)

But if appearance doesn't bother someone, the ships are fully playable in game. Note that again they were meant for Reunion so the weapon loadouts might be a bit different than intended and shield types for the bigger ships as well. Also there are no TM, M8, M6M or M7M ships cause they didn't exist back then

I guess the bombers could be assigned the M8 class rather easily but they still wouldn't be "true" M8 cause they have forward fireing guns. And wing commander doesn't have dedicated missile warships. The only equivalent to the TM I would think of is a ship that only existed in a novel so I don't have it ^.^;

Anyways, enough with my long-winded rant about my ships, I like your listing, it makes things easy ^.^

or maybe you'd like to work on them some more.

Q. Are the issues you mentioned with X3TC, also in X3R ? or are the issues unique to X3TC ?

There were always some slight graphical issues in X3R, but nothing major... The ones I mentionned in my previous post however are unique to X3TC.

To be honest I've no clue how to fix the issues so I doubt I'll be working on them anytime soon. That being said, I will likely update them for TC when I get the time. It doesn't take long. Only the grahpics issues are beyond me.

There are certain ships that look fine in TC however, again just need to tweak the stats in X3Editor2 so that it has the proper loadouts... otherwise they're fine for playing in TC (Examples include the Yorktown/Concordia, F-103 Excalibur and Vesuvius)

Ok, when I put them up, I'll put a note to them that they are recommended for X3R.
Then if / when you update them, I'll put up the updated ones instead (as long as they work in X3R & X3TC).

I hope that's OK.

I have one last question (for now),
I'm going to start asking everyone (I can find) who makes these ships
if they would mind me holding onto backups and uploading them if the current links become broken for any reason.
Is this OK with you ? If it is, great. If it isn't, that's OK too.
