Could you, please, explain how sanctuary menus works? Which scripts do I have to look into to add a button to menu?

A bit of backstory. I'm kinda into boarding, and this led to me having more than 80 marines. For easier managing I wanted to add them kind of team tag in the beginning of their names, like [A] or [C], separating them into 4-man teams. Doing that manually through rename function would take a lot of time, cause there is no way to just add something, only completely replace the name.
I slightly altered renaming part of Menu.DWM.Marine.SM script to just add symbols to existing name. Not best solution, but I couldn't find the way to add separate button.

And the scripts are: Menu.DWM.Get.X and Menu.DWM.Set.X. This menu, obviously, is huge, so there are many scripts and dependencies... Good luck!

I've setup a few distribution jobs in two of my sanctuaries, so far so good.

I've discovered that the scrap is not working in making gear, I have about 800 scrap in one sanctuary that has a marine barracks, up top of the screen it says no scrap, when I attempt to make something it says "not enough scrap", yet there is scrap in the sanctuaries inventory.

I've taken this game a bit too easy I think, I have a net worth of about 2.5 Billion, and I am nowhere near ready to take on a faction, got a mission via message to take out 6 Terran TS, if I did that I would get annihilated, if I don't then there are consequences which I am beginning to see.

How did you get scrap? You're not supposed to be able to get the physical ware. Scrap is a virtual currency you receive after boarding a ship.

That would explain it, I found it floating around in a sector, my universal collector picked it up.

Are CV ships supposed to keep their dot-like icons after being boarded? I do not recall this happening before.

Misunderstood, I was probably being a bit cryptic as I didn't want to give away anything that happens (for the first timers like me)

When you get approached by that Corporation , and meet up with them in one of the sectors, and they tell you to kill 6 Terran TS or global trade is going to tank, I was concerned about killing the 6 TS as I could not beat the Terran Faction in a war.
I am now noticing a lot of stations have no products, is this because I didn't fulfill their request?
The scrap incident happened only last week, version 2.7.8

Is there any way to make peace with a faction you are at war with? somehow my rep with the Teladi went from 8 to -2 in about 5 minutes, I've been fighting with them for a while, took a couple of sectors, but I now want to make peace as I have about 30 hours left until all hell breaks loose.'
I cannot see gaining rep the normal way working when they are trying to kill me in all their sectors.

Joubarbe,

I have a little problem with my mistral super freighters crashing into my sanctuary. It seems to be a problem with my docked carrack, the MSF do not seem to recognise the docked carrack as part of the sanctuary and just crashes into it.

That's a vanilla problem. The game doesn't like those super TSs.

one of the saves where the game crashes. if i disable the DAs no crash.

and a new game which is also crashing. the crash only happens when i am in the invading sector of the ocv. ocv invasion will happen within 3 minutes if i am in it crashes, if i am not in its fine.
