Thanks for confirming it - then i messed only the fixes up. Gladly, that is easy to fix.
Will try to roll out a new update when i have a bit time. There was a fix for XRM posted a bit ago, fixing turrets of 2 ships, i will include that too.

I'm having constant crashes. Sometimes when entering a system, sometimes just flying around. I've played for 2 hours and had 3 crashes since I re-installed from scratch (had several before I re-installed as well, that was over a uninstalled 1.0). 1.0 worked fine. Only changes from a basic LxXRM install is changing the docking computer size and tweaking the Truelight Seeker to take XXL cargo and have the ranger's equipment set (uaing the x3 editor 2). I tried turning off the awesomification, but it didn't help. Not seeing any other problems, just the crashes to desktop. Any ideas or what I can do for troubleshooting?

Hm, i can't help with stuff when it comes to editor use, because there are really so much possible things then you can mess up.

Its the default installation stable for you?
I suggest to make a new, dean AP install for that.

For me, 2.0 is more stable as 1.0. In fact i did not had any crash beside one, which was clearly a memory problem after several hours of playing without restarting, you have with mods that some times.

Hm, i can't help with stuff when it comes to editor use, because there are really so much possible things then you can mess up.

Its the default installation stable for you?
I suggest to make a new, dean AP install for that.

For me, 2.0 is more stable as 1.0. In fact i did not had any crash beside one, which was clearly a memory problem after several hours of playing without restarting, you have with mods that some times.
I uninstalled and reinstalled LxXRM and it cleared the changes I made, but is still crashing. About 2/3 of them are when I am entering a new system, the other 1/3 are just flying around. I'll enter a system, it'll crash, I'll reload from my last save, go back into the same system and it will be fine. It'll just crash while I'm flying around 3 systems later. It has crashed in Midnight Star, Savage Spur, Rhonkar's Trial, Okrakoke's Storm... No real rhyme or reason...

Only other thing I can think of is that I'm using the GoG version, which really shouldn't matter...

I actually own the Steam version as well, installed it did a plain LxXRM install, started a Goner Witness start, crashed whilst fixing a ship in Black Hole Sun... I may just go back to 1.0.

Edit: I uninstalled everything, removed all the files I could find that related to X3. Installed it fresh from Steam, installed LxXRM and it is now running beautifully. Played it for quite a while and it didn't crash at all. So I think it's good now. Not sure what the core problem was, guess it was either using the GoG version or some issue with having the older version initially...

In my case the crashes comes after playing a bit more than 5 days.. after than time and some hours the game begins to die and then crash everytime at some point.. don't know the reason.

Currently playing other mods like Xtended and "normal" XRM (after that one), to see if the crash happen on those as well.

I tried loading different saves, auto saves, restarting the computer, defragmenting, chkdsk, nothing... it just crash after some time has passed and my game is ruined. Have tried 3 different game starts and it crashed in all of them after a period of time played. Any ideas?

What was your setup?

But more important: What mods you activated in the AI settings?
And of course - you added other mods?

If you install for example another auto targeting mod above the already installed ones, you get crashes after some time too.

Well at least in 2 different game starts, it happened after a bit more than 5 ingame days and some hours of difference (can be a coincidence, but the fact is that the game just crashes and it turns unplayable).

My setup is the one that comes by default if you do not change anything in the installation (was testing if some of the mods or scripts outside the default setup was the problem).

I didnt add other mods, but i do have other X3 installations with different mods in their respective directories (don't know if it's relevant).

The AI settings... i don't remember, but i don't like the auto targeting (have 2 buttons on my Joystick for that) so as i said before, i didn't install other mods. Just play with the default.

O also installed the mod on a clean installation of X3.

So, it would be interesting which AI settings you activated - remember that "AI Settings" means "mod activation & settings".
I have posted on the first page a video where is showed my game settings, did that happens with them too?
Do you activated the Khaak invasion mod, the nightmare mod or the phanon company mod?
Because i did not tested them over the time.

Did the privateer bases get removed? They always had the best bartering options.

I will uninstall everything and clean registry, then reinstall using your setup to try it. I really liked the game using this mod package, there must be something i have in my PC that is corrupting the game in some way, just have to try until it works i guess.

Hey, thanks for putting together these mods, I like it!

I have done instructions to the letter. I use Windows 7 and GOG version of the game.
In setup all _DOWNLOADS/ are "ok" and path is FOUND. No problems here.

However i have some signs of faulty installation:

One of the messages at beggining of the game says: "The language file of the Enhanced Equipment Docks does not exists!"

The Humble merchant start: my m5 does not have textures. It can be marked, I see its icon on radar and sector view and in sector, I can enter it but it's invisible. When I enter my m5 all of icons start flashing.
I can see the new ships, like KOL Triton, and stations at Argon Shipyard in Argon Prime but some of the ships are ReadText. Most of missiles are ReadText aswell.
Betty and station verbal announcer doesn't work. Is it by design?
Tried 3 different starts.

I think i finally got the culprit of my crashing problems... the repair laser factories.

Y loaded the last save of my game (the one close to the inminent crash), and disable some mods in the Artificial life settings. The ones that i keep were the ones that i did not enable in previous games (like pirate guild and Yaki armada) and the game did not crash were it supposed to. I'm still testing though, need to play for at least another 5 ingame days to be sure xD.

it's the only installation with english language. Everything is as default by instructions as it can be. Bugs show up before and after Artificial Life Settings and Plugin Configurations adjustments.
During installation several Command Line Errors occur, but I have no idea if this affects anything.

Edit:
It turned out I haven't done everything to the letter. I did not used https://cmder.net/ terminal, coz I didn't care about colored letters.
Installation process was faulty.

I reinstalled the game in a folder that doesn't have any spaces: X3TerranWarPack instead of X3 Terran War Pack,
used https://cmder.net/ terminal,
redownloaded LxXRM20.
and... it seems to work well!

It was working fine with whitespaced filenames, but i did not tested it with the new installer.
Stupid .bat format.

Ok... please go on with testing- indeed i activated that only in my new gameplay.

But i know the mod and used it fine in the past.
So, if that is the problem, it must be a side effect with some older mods.

I did not love how that mod works together with LxXRM anyway, so perhaps i look for an own solution here.

I just want to say thanks! I am another X4 buyer who is underwhelmed by what it has to offer so far - got it in my head to go back to X3AP, either XRM or LU, both of which I've enjoyed immensely over the years. When I stumbled across LxXRM, I was overjoyed. And it is indeed impressive...brings a whole new perspective, approach and flavor to a new game start. Well done!

How amazing is this game? Not many games out there with such staying power. And it is largely because of people like you and those whose mods you've assembled with your own work here, who we mere players owe a debt of gratitude to.

Thank you very much for your nice work, bro! It made me very happy. :) There are a few questions.
1. How to make all fonts and menus larger? In high resolution, everything is so small now that I will soon become completely blind (I am 57 years old and I do not see well in the menu even with glasses). When installing, the option of a large font was turned on (tahoma 13), but I see no differences with what was in the original game. Is the font larger?
2. All ships in my game began to fly slower than it was in XRM. For example, my starting Sirokos flies at a speed of 205 m/s (maxed), and in the past it flew 256 m/s. All other ships also reduced speed proportionally. How should it be real in the new game?
3. At the beginning of the game it is almost impossible to buy shields and weapons for the ships. They are simply not available, even transports are very difficult to wear. Abandoned ships also stand idle, because for them there is absolutely no equipment. I am saved only by barter, but this is not at all interesting and should not be so. Can this be somehow changed?

1. thats not that easy to do. You can either remove everything what is in "000 - Base/X3AP_COPYME" - which will make the game show the default UI or set a smaller resolution for the game at all in the gfx card settings.

2. The speed is adjusted by some of the used mods, i did nothing by myself. But for all capital ships are now variants - some are faster as the default, some have more shield. Anyway, 256 for a M7 Frigate, the 3rd largest standard ship class, is to much. There are M3 which are slower. Which makes not that much sense. I assume that are the reasons. The overall ship speed is more or less the same.

3. Well, that not different as in the vanilla game. But why should anyone except some pirates sell you military hardware ? You can't go around in real life to and say "hey, i need some cruise missile for my next raid - anyone?". But if you look around in the shipyards you will see that you can buy factories which will build weapons, missiles and shields.

In fact is THAT the goal of the game - to build up the infrastructure to arm you fleet.

You will notice that you can't buy factories for some xenon or Khaak weapons, which makes it impossible to fit out every bailed out ship. So, you have to collect here the weapons from the bails and use the ships you can't fit out for selling. Be creative.

But anyway - if you repair the bailed ships and sell them, you can make money ALOT faster as in vanilla. Which you will need, because if you activate some of the invasion scripts, you will need alot money and resources to build up a fleet.

1. "000 - Base/X3AP_COPYME" - no such files/directories in my installations, so can't examine this one.
2. Ok, 205 m/c is a nice speed for M6 ships. But it is less than XRM ships speed. I dont know why. http://blubb.najut.org/x3/xrm/ships_en_xrm.html
3. I'm sorry, but In the standard XRM game, I used barter only to arm an exotic ships. And there are not even small shields here, even for explorer ships I must search for 1mj shields, the same applies to TS - cant find 25/200mj shields. What kind of "EQUIPMENT docks" are such that they only have 0 or 1 piece of shields and 1 or 2 pieces of some unnecessary weapons, not even mosquitoes. That's just funny! Absolutely empty docks, you can not even buy a lasers for miners.
