Advanced Jumpdrive ware naming issue (and some other stuff)

Post by vertical puppies » Thu, 5. Dec 19, 03:11

Hi guys, so I'm guessing this isn't the first (or 50th) time someone has had this problem but I did an advanced search (a few actually) and came up zilch for answers so..
It's all in the title. Advanced jumpdrive shows as ZA_EMP_10053_WARE_CUSTOM1_1_99999 (there may be more characters after this I just cannot see them.)
I'd like my advanced jump drive to display it's name correctly if possible.
Here's a list of mods I have installed (exported from cycrows plugin manager V1.531

I'm using Disc install version of X3 TC V3.4
Also a bunch of other mod wares show up as similar names as the jump drive.
Quite possibly all of them, I am not too sure.
AND I have no Explorer command software in my universe, it's just not there.

PS I just have to gush a little, cycrow, you have been one of my personal heroes for the effort you've put into X, and all you've done to make my time spent playing the game just SO wonderful.
And the plugin manager... Best on market. You're awesome man.
Hit me up if you ever need a kidney, portion of liver or bone marrow, because worth it.

Ok so even MDM (mosquito missile defence) isn't working, this thread gets hella views but no replies, and that's fine, nobody is beholden to help me (for real guys, I had to ask but I'm not pushy).

I'd go one further though and ask this;
There was a script in script editor that took all the BS unused mismatched wares and took em all away (thing actually took like a minute to run while it did it's thang).
I can't remember if you null it, select somethin'.. if I've even got the right thing..

OK OR separate question..
If I backup my saves, delete everything, install, manager, scripts, folders used, mothers maiden name, the lot.
Reinstalled, tried to do it all 515% by the book, and added stuff one at a time, ya reckon I could reintegrate my saves after it gets all worked out? If it gets worked out.
I could just go fetal and pray...

Look any help anyone could give, any advice, no matter how small would make a difference in my world.

Life is kicking me in the nards, hard, at 12.5 kicks per nard per second and this one thing I got going on here with the playing TC again is very close to all I have.
I put this in spoilers because I don't want people to feel obligated or go outta their wait out of pity, just happens to be true.
N if someone IS that way inclined, it really really would mean a lot.

In your first post, you list a very huge amount of mods. No one can detect a bug among such a list.
Yes, sadly, you have to do what one must do when dealing with dozens of mods: activating one by one (or more) and check again. Your savegame will basically get corrupted when the universe is changed. Seeing your list, it's very likely your savegame will continue to work after identifying the source of the problem you have. I don't think you need to fully reinstall your game though. The plugin manager has been made to activate and deactivate scripts with ease.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, there's a Community Ware library that was mandatory at some point in the history of X3 modding. I don't know if it's still the case, or if the plugin manager has it included.

EMP mod not installed.
EMP mod installed, all is well with it, but there is a problem with text files.
They are damaged or missing, or have the wrong language id. These are those that are in the t folder. For the Advanced Jumpdrive, this:
7539-L007.xml
7539-L033.xml
7539-L044.xml
7539-L049.xml
