This will be a good thing imo but i think even though they are being tight lipped the co pilot is going to be a VI called Betty! you just know it. also in one of the infos bernd sais the co-pilot will be essential for running ships systems. hmmmm defo a VI IMO!

Loving the look of this game!

Just nervous about the Npc models until i see them!

p.s could be a reason to axe boron as squids must be hard to animate walking about lol

Judging by the awesome cockpit screen shot displayed in the newsletter, I have a feeling my Dual Core i5 (M460) and HD5470 1gig VGU will not be able to play this beautiful piece of artwork....

I am totally sad 'bout this. I might need to buy a new computer.

A ship in X3:TC has about the same detail (read: polycount) i would say.

Uh oh...

I'd probably play it anyway - the more new info gets released, the more my doubts are alleviated about the game.

Same here. When they first started releasing the info on Rebirth I was starting to get disappointed. Especially with the changes to cap ships. But now, I'm wishing I had a time machine so I can go pick me up a copy now

Since he has made comments that we will be able to mingle with passengers I wondered about the graphics for the more esoteric races. And yeah Borons were my top worry as well.

Also , I know we can move around in our ship and possible decks of cap ships and maybe stations, but can we still EVA?
