Wonder if there will be an advanced stat tracker in rebirth

Considering the potental size and complexity how deep will they go if there is a cocurrent stat tracker?

There is already pretty detailed state tracking in the older games so I wouldn't expect it to be removed. If your thinking about persistent online state tracking then that's a complexity different ball game. It would require players to login and would require ways to validate states and even then you'll find cheaters and people would abuse the system.

A persistent online system would be a massive headache to maintain and keep it free from cheaters, so given Egosofts size I would be surprised if they did go that root.

Having said that I'm sure I've seen a facility somewhere to upload game states to the website but I forgot where it is.

Reason I ask is because I see the top 3 folks on the current list are MIles of a rankings. like stations and ships destroyed. Would be a nice perk to toss in for us competitive types.
