Can we have the old 'complete' options menu back??

and several other controller issue posts, I think these can be solved if you were able to ether patch the game to allow us to assign any button on any device to any task, like in X3, yes it took a while to get it just right, but when it was set up, it was brilliant, or some details on any .ini type file we can edit to get the controls we like??

I don't wish to whine, but as a long time Xplayer, i think you may have over simplified things a bit much.... the ability to do something simple like assign the hat switches to strafe, and set-up our controllers the way your loyal fans are used to will likely help keep many a fan happy, and altho i am not a contributor myself, i cans see how this may 'alienate' those who have dedicated much time to your games (MODs, community supporters), and as a flow-on effect have assisted in keeping your games vibrant, and money trickling into your pockets well after the lifespan of any lesser game.

Thankyou for your time, and i hope to see more flexible control options sooner rather than later.....
