x3 reunion help please info needed

Ok i need help.. how can i hide illegal software or freight? ? A pirate base offered me something to hide it with but they would not sell it to me. Is there anywhere else to buy it?

Only the Pirates sell the SSS. It hides the SOS. IIRC, Pirate Bases (rarely) offer missions that might give SSS as reward.

No cloaking for the cargo.

However, despite optimistic announcements, the police scanners seem to fail to detect the contents of a ship that is docked into a Carrier (M1, TL, or M7).

That's where I normally hide the stuff they might object to, but if is fairly early in the game the best place to store it is in a docked ship just avoid the local fuzz when you are en route to deliver such illegal goods to it.

I think the Duke's HQ will always stock the SSS and SOS.

Not in X3 Reunion. (No Duke in that game.)
