[Observation][Question] Removing the War and Performance

Post by RoverTX » Wed, 28. May 14, 04:59

On my laptop with a Geforce 650M and an i7 2.7GHz, with the War on, running with my normal mods, IEX, additional sectors, and additional jobs, I was getting between 30-45 FPS. After removing the war my FPS jump up to 45-60 FPS.

Anyone else experience this with their set ups, or could this be something related to my set up?

The war request extra processing power to keep running in the background, so disabling it will free these up. Also, you will end up with less ships as the war ships will no longer be thier either, less ships, means theres less to process.

All this can free up your cpu abit so it can be used for other things. As the game is CPU bound, this has an effect on the FPS
