At the risk of resurrecting an old thread, I've searched the index but can't find any reference to this query.
When I played X3TC previously some AI ships continued to follow the AI programming after being capped. Has this bug been fixed?

I think it still happens rarely but now and again when the change or loss of ownership happens at a difficult point in the script loop - and especially when using SETA or exactly on doing a save. The usual workaround is to issue the ship command 'none', issue the command 'none' to all turrets if applicable, and then issue the turret and ship orders you actually want. That should fix things.
