well its why i first thing i use cheat mode to jumpdrive , sometimes while in autopilot or going so fast in gates cause this

I've once had a strange situation where I somehow was bumped out of a Superhighway 2/3 of the way through. At the time I had a cap ship so I just had them boost to me and pick me up then jump out.

It only happened the one time, though.

Annoying bug aside, you are not losing 30h of gameplay. Just quickload the last savegame which will not be 30h in the past.

Is your game up to date? And do you still have mods installed? This was a fairly common issue a few versions ago, but I've not seen recent reports of it happening in unmodified games.

It happened to me a few time on previous versions (actually, I got kicked out of a superhighway halfway through). If you own a capship, have him pick you up. If they're in the same system, they'll come to you fairly quickly (say a few minutes, given the distances involved). Then you can just have him jump somewhere else.

Never been kicked out of a superhighway, last time I had trouble where I went through a superhighway and ended up 1000+km away from my destination was before 4.0 and I was following an escort ship on autopilot to Glaring Truth.

But still a bug like that never got in my way of enjoying the game.

Personally I like being occasionally kicked out of a SH.. if it's convenient. Gives me a boost to exploring areas that would otherwise be ignored due to distance (eg the 'ribbon' in DV)

IMO it also makes a certain amount of sense, if the chance is set suitably low (<0.1% per tick?). IRL odd things /do/ happen after all, even on highways!

Provided <player> has at least 1 capship to retrieve them it shouldn't be more than a minor annoyance (so set plot players' chance for this to zero before they retrieve their Rahanas)
