IMPORTANT MESSAGE


Good day to all! I made a new HUD for X3 - Resurrection (HUD is in alpha version for testing)

- Some new icons for ships (they are better distinguished).
- Recolored borders
- New transparent menu (better readable).
- New target cursor.
- And a lot of else...

So far for tests only. Official will be released in the new patch 2.1.

Of course I could share screenshots, but this is alfa.alfa.alfa version :D , and there will be a lot of changes and I change something still. Maybe all what I will give here will be changed, so it is uselles. The screenshots would have bigger size that the HUD mod :D.

Please, it is test version, absolutely compatible with your saves, and your saves will be compatible after you remove this HUD mod, if you will don't like it.

You can try it simply....

I made HUD as an attempt. Now I'm working on a HUD project with transparent elements like in sci-fi movies and new games. Picture on my web in the right column (New HUD - Project).

This mod see great,but i have a cuestion,with this mod,game have less fps??because i see more detailed ships,etc...

Simply...no. All textures in this mod have the same resolution as the textures in original game. This mean that loading of each texture (size of the texture) will not slow down speed of the game...fps.

I just tested the alpha version of the new HUD with LU and is a really good improvement, more informative and readability is also improved, like the new colours and the cursor :)

Really useful !

Many thanks for this beautiful and great mod and keep up the good work.

The new HUD looks very nice. Congrats.

NEW VERSION OF X3 - RESURRECTION 2.1. WAS RELEASED



The main elements in the new version are:

- New GUI and HUD
- Modified textures
- Improved some textures for cockpit mods



If you play the game with a LU or XRM mod and you download patch 2.1, please also download the compatibility pack that I have already edited for the new version 2.1. :-)

If you don´t want to download the whole mod again, the correct sequence of CAT and DAT files for update from version 2.0. to version 2.1. is:

1) X3 - Resurrection 2.0.
2) Patch 2.1.
3) Compatibility Pack for your next modification *

* = If you are using it.


If you don´t want to use the new HUD and GUI, on my web are links in the right column where you can easily choose what you want. CAT and DAT files with old HUDs and GUIs place at the last in the sequence in the folder of the game (main folder = TC, addon folder = AP).

I hope I maked happy fans of the X3 (TC/AP) and that they will enjoy this mod. It was months of work that was worth it. I'm very happy for all the positive reactions. Likewise, I like all the negative reactions that have helped improve and enrich this mod.

One bug related to XRM weapon icons has been detected. Please download the XRM Compatibility Pack again.

Love the new cockpit textures. Also, thanks for having a no GUI patch. I like what you did with your GUI but ive been using mine so long I dont want to change.

No. XRM pack changes only textures. That mean you can use your saves. And this is not patch but compatibility pack. Some bigger mods uses own textures for some structures, GUI, etc. X3 Resurrection uses original textures, so there is needed to add back textures from your previous mod (XRM, LU). :-)
