Cannot build station as 'currently building' is stuck

I'm trying to build a warehouse and have found 2 shipyards that can supply the Construction Vessel to build one:

HOL/West Gate/District 5/TER Capital Shipyard/Cate Poler (XL) and HOL/Silanes Triumph/District 8/TER Capital Shipyard/Ban Jorwan.

One is currently building a Scaldis and the other an Arawn but the 'currently building' levels are stuck at 0% and 71% respectively. I cannot therefore start building the Construction Vessel. How can I 'unstick' the building?

Check if both SYs have enough resources to finish their task. Otherwise, you are screwed afaik.

It is indeed a case of ware shortage. The shipyards in Home of Light tend not to run out often (compared to those in other systems) or for long, so you may opt to wait. Alternatively, you could take this as an opportunity for some profit, by supplying one (or both) of those shipyards with necessary wares. Here's the thing, though: people often say things along the lines of "check to see whether the shipyard has enough resources", but this isn't quite that straightforward when the shipyard is stuck on a NPC ship order, as you can't simply query the needed resources. Instead, you have to examine the wares the shipyard has on hand, and try to identify what's in short supply (it helps to have a trade agent on the station, so that you can examine stock levels at any stage.) Also, you can look at the shipyard's trade offers, to see what wares it needs urgently - odds are that whatever's holding up production is at or near the top of the list; there is an exception, though: if the shipyard's storage has been damaged (by pirate raids, for instance), there won't be any trade offers for any wares there is no room for - however, this is a very unusual situation in Home of Light, where pirate activity is low.

There's a good method to identify which ware is missing.
Shipyard seldom have all of their capital ship production lines used at the same time. This is to allow the player to use the shipyard in any circumstances. It also mean you can have access to certain info at any time.

So what you want to do is:
-Select one of the capital ship dealer that is not currently building. L or XL makes no difference for this exercice.
-Select any ship to build.
-Go to the confirmation page.
-You will be able to see what resources are available, and more importantly which ones are missing. Chances are the ones that are missing (or very low) are the ones that are preventing the other ship's completion. You can then cancel everything, supply the shipyard, let it finish it's current project, then build your own ship.
