This... I might actually try to watch this:

I just hope they don't hump a football with it and introduce too much crap. I'd like it to be something like "Vikings", with a lot of it based on history, with a fictional flare. That's my hope, anyway, and I don't really know why I'm hoping the History Channel won't hump a football... I bet they'll put aliens in it. Aliens... in armor. Yeah, they'd do that. :(
Watched the premier.

Footballs were humped. I probably won't continue watching the series.

It just didn't feel right. The opening was "300" + "Kingdom of Heaven" = Humping Footballs I don't really think it got any better than that. It sort of developed a sort of "soap opera" feel for me. I just didn't care about any of it.

Sure, it was the premier and one supposes they had to get a lot done and hope to really start building in later episodes. But, meh... It has a lot of work to do in order to force me to watch another episode.

It looks like Netflix added Ash vs Evil Dead to quite a few countries libraries. US has it even though it's not on the list. Canada only got season 1. US has season 1+2.

Just watched "Dark" on Netflix.
Very Stranger Things like due to a similar setting and similar key scenes.
Yet so different story-wise as well as the characters and a tad darker.
[Sex scenes involved]

Recommended.

Omg I thought you meant van damn :o

Friend of our family is a stewardess attending the 1st class of an intercontinential fight with said person aboard. I will refrain to attempt to quote her impression but ... Van Damn appears to be an a$$hole. I did enjoy some of his early movies (having some background in MAA) but will never watch anything from/with him ever again.

Started to watch The Orville on amazon - it's more "Star Trek" than Discovery and with far more jokes ( not all of them good).

Watching Punisher at the moment and it seems a good show too.

Some two decades ago, I saw JCvD in a local entertainment "mall" (such is an exceptionally rare occurrence, in the country where I live.) I found it highly amusing that it was a miracle I saw him at all, given that he was almost permanently almost completely obscured from view by a retinue of several large bodyguards. I had enjoyed Bloodsport back in my impressionable youth, but was also cured of that soon enough. :D

Thanks for sharing ... watched season 1 in one all-nighter; an entertaining parody.
