Google's main screen offering today is probably it's best to date.
A cute 360 degree animation, so swipe or scroll to keep the actors in view.

Enjoy the trip.

I watched "Psychokinesis" last night, its a Korean film that's a mix of superhero movie, comedy and guy learns to be a better father (I dunno if there's a more official name for that genrea. . . . certainly plenty of films in it!)
I was interested in it because its the second film from the director whose first was "Train to Busan"

Conclusion: It was quite good, . . . . . but if you haven't seen it already, go watch Train to Busan instead.

The French tv series Missions is on BBC. It's 6.7/10 with 446 votes on imdb. I think only 4 episodes are up so far. UK region locked.

Babylon 5 has moved from go90.com to Amazon Prime US. They added Chuck also.

It looks like Starhunter Redux will air May 29, 2018 on the El Rey network (a paid network)

Does this mean that the first three seasons will actually become available on Amazon Prime in the UK, or are we still going to have the ridiculous situation where it's on Prime in the US but on Netflix over here? Meaning I would have to have both Amazon Prime and Netflix to see the whole thing?

I too just started this.
Premise is that the imaginary friend (a blue cartoon unicorn) of a kidnapped girl seeks out the protagonist (a drug addled former superstar cop turned hitman) to convince him to rescue the girl.
Something different to be sure.

I'm enjoying it so far, the setting, characters and violence are all hugely / comically overblown and combined with the utterly ridiculous premise makes it all rather fun / amusing. It reminds me a little of the Jason Statham movie Crank stylewise.
But yeah not for the kids this one.

Currently watching The Joy of Techs on Netflix. About 50% of the episodes are funny. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. I suggest starting with episode 2 not episode 1.

Watching Luke Cage season 2 atm.. However, it's more about the bands rather than the story why I'm posting this. So if you like blues and jazz then have a go. Some of those musicians are quite amazing.

I mean, you know they cancelled it and it had to be rescued by Amazon right?

I'm still going through season 2 on Netflix myself. Hopefully they *will* get season 3 despite the show going to Amazon!

watching as much World Cup footie as possible..
brilliant tournament, well done Russia on the organisation..

also, don't know if it qualifies - been listening to YouTube readings of Asimov's Foundation series..
found it fascinating when it first appeared in print, and it still comes over as a colossal piece of story-telling.. 8)

Watching Joseph Campbell's 'Power of Myth' on Netflix. I watched it once before many years ago, but it's worth a second viewing.

I have the DVD collection of those interviews. I haven't even watched them all, yet. :/

If you're interested, "The Hero with a Thousand Faces" is an outstanding work. BUT... it's "heavy reading." It's so darn deep and scholarly that it can be a quick turn-off and hard to slog through for all but the most avid fiction/writing fans.
