Split pirates and typhoon missiles

Can some one help me here I want to increase my split rank and cant find any pirate bases, which split sector has the pirate base from X2?...cant find it on my map...

Like how the Argon ones are in Ore belt and Nathans voyage.
And where can I buy me a Typhoon missile fac, the swarm one...? And what fighters can equip these I notice the best M3 in the game can't. :x

Typhoon is a large swarm missile, doubt even a M6 can fit one of those suckers on em.

on the side of the pirate base. Do you really wanna know? Seriously? :o

Chinns escape, and rhinkars clouds r the split 1's at the start i think, but i've seen split military blow them up b4, in which case they'll respawn somewhere else after a while, 1 way of finding out if theres one in sector is to use the best buys locator, look 4 something u can buy at a pirate base weed, space fuel etc, and if its on the list, with "unknown" shown then theres one in that sector, of course finding it could b trickier :wink:
