Mass driver 1.3 stutters - any news ?

I can not find the old thread, sorry for starting this one.

I tried defragment and it did not help a bit.

Is there any known solution (even a mod) ? I just can't play like this. Any Egosoft reactions ? Links to old thread ? It seems some peple has the same problem with PSGs ..

My problem with certain weapons, (MD included) seems to be linked to the weapon effects. There's a mod that changes the effect for PSG's here:

I used the X3 editor to change the effects for the MD, ID, and PSG myself. Did wonders for performance in my 1.3 game.

I'm not really a modder or interested in getting in the mod business.

However, you could tweak the weapons yourself with the X3 editor. Just find and change the weapons in the Tbullets file. Be sure to back up your cats and dats first!

Or you could request a mod in the modder's forum.
