Tractor Beam and Repair Laser

I have been playing X3 for a while now (its worse than x2 for addictiveness I think) and have a few Universe traders working away and evey now and then one will get stuck and I have to restart it. Occasionally I have watched on the property screen when this happens and I can see it looking for things to buy and the items scroll through and I have seen "Tractor Beam" and "Repair Laser" flash up. I have not found these items anywhere in the game that I can think of.

Does anyone know where these items can be found?, are they anomolies or can they be bought and equiped somewhere?

Those 'weapons' were not implemented in X3.
