Khaak Kyons

Out of intrest can any other M2 mount Khaak Kyons
Of all the things i've lost. I miss my mind the most.

Not M2 that I know of but I have seen a Xenon P fire them at me. At least I think it was a P as I am 90% sure I have seen a variant M6. It might have been an O.

According to a spreadsheet somewhere on these forums (the ship one), a Xenon P can mount all 3 varients of the kyon emitters. No other ship can. Only Khaark ships can use their missiles, aswell.

This was before v1.3. It now can only mount APPCs and weaker

Thought something was wrong there. Maybe the Khaak and Xenon were co-operating...

Anyway, sell them? Cap a destroyer? Oooh, a fully fledged Khaak destroyer - fun!

Script yourself in a goner m6, it can mount every weapon in the game :)

Do the Goner's even have a M6!? I thought they only had the Goner Ship, and by that logic they don't have a M6.

I forget the name of it in the script editor, but it is the ship the goner pilot speaks to you from on mission 2 of the plot. Yes it does exist :D

Edit: it is called the "Truelight Seeker"

Hey, I've heard that before. Isn't that Noah's ship? Or is it the one that picks you up in mission 2?

Yeah well I have 0 unsigned script policy so no thanks.

So I quess I just hang on to them (5 G,2 B ,1 A) as souvenirs. Or maybe eventually fit them on a khaak ship if I ever manage to capture one.

Scripts fulfil the game in ways that the developers haven't addressed yet.

I'm totally against scripting in assets for myself, or changing the prices of things (In X2, you could redistribute the prices so that the Solar Fac was about 4 Mil instead of several hundred-thousand - insane, I tell you! - - - whoa, what's the price of a solar fac in X3, anyone? Anyone?)

But, the race response so that races defend their sectors. Reducing the amount of asteroids so you can drive through a sector at greater than 1fps. Even scripts and mods that help out your factories. All yummy.

As for the guns - well, sell them. You can't mount gammas on an M3 anyways.

SPPs are about 5mil in X3. Damn, they were great first stations in X2!
