So far the only thing i dont have is the drill thingi!

not at home so i cant check but i think the paranid sell miner variations of the TS fully loaded with the drill on board, so check the shipyards
otherwise try the teladi sectors as they will sell anything!
are you looking in each sector manually(i.e. flying through each one)? cause you can still check out wares in most sects by clicking on stations through the galaxy map, it saves alot of time

if you havent done much exploring then just head southish for paranid space past cloudbase south west.
use an M5 for exploring or it will take forever, with your TS following to exploit any deals you come across!
that way you can explore, trade and you should eventually find the elusive mining drill, and dont forget the ore collector and mineral scanner.
