Hammerhead Missile

I must admit i'm fairly new to the X-Universe - only played on X2 for a few days a long while ago.

I've had X3 for a little over a week now, and i've managed to pick up a Hammerhead missile.

I know there a plenty of unlisted missiles to obtain, but what i want to know is why the hurricane shows up in the weapons list to the left of the screen, but doesn't show up in my inventory.....meaning i can't transfer it to one of my ships that can use it as it can't be used in my Buster.

Anyone had experience with this missile, and willing to share it ????
