What Are Your M1/2/3/4/5/6 Names??

I was just wondering what other people named their ships. I don't have anything bigger than an M5 Discoverer with 4 BIRE's, max shield, speed, etc, but am planning on naming my future destroyers and Carriers something like this:

Incarnation Of the Damned
Wages Of Fate
Wake Of Death
Deliverence Of Doom

etc etc.

and my personal fav: Legacy Of Combat

Mine are all origninal:

Ore Express (E) (supplies the ore mine with ecells)
Ore Express - (no tag) gets the ore automatically loaded into it
Same scheme for all fabs. Supply ships get the ([initial]) tag, recieving ships don't.


UTs:

Demeter SF1-SF5, "UT" added after they're "trained"

TL:

Elephant 1

Falcon SW1 E1 - Falcon Sentinel Wingman, home base is Elephant 1
Falcon SW2 E1 - etc

I've long since forgotten the names of most of my M3 / 4s... until the log reminds me of them with a destruction message I do regularly fly a couple of them though; Sentinal, a Nova Vanguard, and Senator, a standard Susanowa.

The names of my UTs come from characteristics of my pets; theres 'Intermittant Twitching of Jane', 'Mad Mewing of Patches', 'Iron Claws of Talia', and of course, 'Unsolicited Swats of Max'

My current flagship, a Colossus, is the Excalibur's Light. I transfered my flag from a trusty Hercules known as the Nemesis Phalanx, which served as an interim pocket carrier, now serves as a mobile weapons depot and station hauler.

My first destroyer, though I've not purchased her yet, will be called 'Dawnstar Champion'.

Out of curiosity, where did you come up with the name HMS Roadkill??

When I first bought it I hopped in the pilots seat and promptly ran over 2 passing freighters. Never being one to look a gift horse in the mouth I picked up their wares.

The idea of a giant ship driving around running things over and scooping up their remains amused me. Hence HMS Roadkill

I'm a little more careful nowadays. I can't afford the hit in race rep!

My TS ships are just called by the numbers, eg Demeter 1-45, Mercury 1-4 (you would probably have been able to work out what I meant even without the examples, I guess....)
I only really name my fighting ships

In my book, a ship is a she, and I'm planning to give them all female names.

My Discover is could the 56 UN, I use it for exploration manly.

And my Mercury is could the JAG Mercury, which I use for trading.

i havn't named anything yet other than the buster of penguin flight, simply because altho it may look cool it waddles along very slowly, and arn't that tough.

in X2 i had

CSS Harbinger, argon titan, with 3 nova escorts
CSS Asmodieus, paranid oddy with psg's all round.
CSS Navigator, elephant TL with 12 nova escorts, lots of freighters, an orinoco and a barracuda.
CSS Wolf kin, dragon with the its own little wolf under neath
CSS Arbiter, paranid nemi
CSS Enduring Spirit, teladi osprey my first combat ship bought and equipped, i intend to port the names over to X3 with some new ones.

yesterday i bought the CSS Chaser which is simply a maxed out mamba, and was just about to roll out hte CSS Righteous Indignation, a split python.
