Argon Disco + Khaak Swarm = Insta death =)

Just wanted to tell a story about my first encounter with the khaak, i was flying through the sector called "The Hole" with my mercury transport escorted by me (fully decked out disco). I was returning for a plot mission back to the Home of Light. when all of a sudden, about half way through the sector, like 20 red dots appear on the radar, i check the map "Unknown Enemy" that were headed right torwards me at a speed faster than my mercury, so (i just saved recently) so i was going to break formation, and distract the khaak long enough for my mercury to get away.

So i breaky formation, turn around and head right for the khaak with my missles armed and my lasers powered.. As soon as the computer says "target is now in weapon range", 20 beam weapons, at the same time.. hit me all at once... dead.. =(

Guess that'll teach me to mess with the khaak with a whole 3 MW of shields =P

Yeah, most first encounters wind up with the player eating hot fiery laser death without even getting a return shot off.
