Tempest Missile Factory?
I've spent the last 5 mins looking through sectors trying to find what missile factories i can actually buy. To be specific i'm looking for a Tempest Missile factory.. i assume one can buy them. I'm also assuming Boron, but of the stations i know i can't find one. Is it possible to purchase a factory for these missiles? is it practical? I'm looking for a way to keep my Centaur armed, and wasps are a highly amusing but unreliable way to keep pesky lights off my back.

Depths of Silence.... mm.. sounds like i need to go map a few more sectors.
Boron Queens Knight would be enough, i hope. Thanks muchly.
Unless you've got a better missile suggestion for M5/M4 killing, i'm thinking Tempest because they can dent bigger stuff also.

The Tempest is a good All-purpose missile...Only time is became overly in-effective is against M1/M2's, and some M3/M6's (damn turrents) where the re-fire rate isn't high enough to overwhelm the turrents. The Wasps are good decoys.
I have a 5x Tempest complex built myself. (I go through them like water during XI missions.) Along with 10x Typhoons, 2 Wasps, 2x 1GJ, 3x Aflaks, and 3x Laser tower. (Big and sprawling doesn't begin to describe it...)
As everyone mentions, the Tempest re-targets itself if the initial target gos boom from something else (Like another Tempest!). But I did find out it won't re-target unless there's another target with a certain radius...Looks to be about within 5km of the missile, give or take...Oh, and you can only fire it dumbfired (no lock on anything) or when locked on a red (hostile) target. It won't fire when I'm locked on a neutral target. (So you can't use it to START a fight.)
Another good thing is it's blast radius is pretty small, so a tempest blowing up from gunfire won't set off any other tempests you have flying nearby, or will RARELY do so...Though the blast radius is big enough to screw yourself over if you blow up one you JUST launch! LoL My last XI mission I took, the only time my Shields hit half was when my side turrents blew up a tempest I just launched. (Was in a Centaur).
It's a good missile. Only other "Standard" (buy-able/build-able) missile that are comparable/can beat it out are the Typhoon (8x30k dmg, same speed and life, no re-lock) and Thunderbolt (Same speed, 2x the life, 75k instead of 60k dmg, no re-lock.)
BTW, I think the Tempest has a better turn rate is is more tenacious in hitting it's target. Anyone else feels that way?
Though for M5s I prefer Disruptors, but collecting is a pain, as much as I love them for blowing the small fry. (If you ever get an assasination mission against a TL and you can spot and lock onto the M5 that's supposed to dock with it, try launching a Disruptor at it. I've completeled 2-3 missions by just killing the M5 and mopping up the escorts before blowing the TL, which sits still the entire time. This works best when the mission starts in the same sector as where you accpeted it, of course. You may or may not need a fast ships too, depending on how big the sector is and where you are relative to where the convoy spawns).
Okay, must stop babbling. Laters...

thiunderbolt missle are my favorie for m3 and m4 because the got a massive range over 40 km i think
then i use wasp missles for m5 or just keepin larger ships sheild down in my"PRIDE AND JOY" my argon centaur equipped with its 8 alpha HEPT's in front turrent and mass drivers in each of the other turrets
great for taking out khaak ships pirates or even those yakis( even funnier they are set as my friend permanently so the don't attack me until i fire first shots so plenty of time to line up perfect shots
