Hi, first of all:

Egosoft you,ve done a great job whit version 1.4 and above.
Even those overfilled Astroids sectors now seems to work.
No more Xenon comming from Teladi-Shipyards..Super
It's Playable ,Finaly :D :D


But i'm realy in the need for our old and beloved:
(X2-the threat) Gunnery crew & AEGIS weapon system!!! :idea: :idea:

Shifting weapons in my Argon Titan takes way to much time
and gets verry Anoying :

Never actually seen weapons swap out in my cap ships, did not think it was possiible in X3

Believe me Gunnery Crew & AEGIS Weapon System is really great

A X2 Argon Titan Was 200% as deadly whit Gunnery Crew & AEGIS Weapon System

They Choose the best Weapons loadout Avable
They engage the most dangerous Enemy to your ship
They will Stop fireing at target, when there's a incomming missile that can bring down your shields more then 5% ,they will shoot down the missile,and continue to fire at most dangerous target
They Won't use weapons of massdestruction when noncombatans are in range!!!

Therse also lots of info on this form About The X2 Gunnery Crew & AEGIS Weapon System

that was a mod for X². and i think it is in X³ automaticly like the strafe drive comes standard on ships. I think there is a mod for X³ that lets you select what weapon goes in your turrets and there is a hot key associated with it so you can choose what weapons you have depending on who your fighting. your bewst bet is to have a nose through the mods on the script and modding forum.

Gunnery Crew and AEGIS were mods that were later signed, and not an original game componant. Their return would most likely depend on the original script-writers updating them for X³.

Patience, padawan. In the mean-time, check on their progress in the Scripting Forum.

Oh I know what it it, used it in X2 just did not think it was in X3 in any form are you saying it is?

I always had the assumption that gunary crews and the software thing was gona be built into x3, im sure i heard from a dev once that it was going to be in the next release of x games. This was when x2 expansion pack was in development.

You Are perfectly right deathhandx3,
with all those great weapons around - why no AEGIS ?
Or at least hotkey to swap all M1 / M2 Guns at once. I Think the weapon group thing in fighters is great, something expanded for Big ships would be handy - If AEGIS ist not possible.
SO egosoft PLEASE put Something like this in!
