Hi to all who love motherships

I am thinking of creating an Argon M0 Mod but i need some people who can help me with this mod as i don't know how to create one but have good designs for it. Sadly I can only give you the basic info so far
Here it is
Ship name:Argon Burner
Turrets:24
cargobay:15000
Length:15km
Compatable Lasers:1
Name of Only Laser:Lasertowerweapon
Max Missile:Hornet
Max Speed:200m/s
Max Sheild:20x125MW
Price:655million cr
Description:
No one knew that the argon had a Mothership because it was only told to the argon secret services. Then the public found out when a captain of an
argon titan discovered the monster protecting the hidden station in the sector black hole sun. It is belived that this ship has the power to take on another mothership in combat and the power to wipe out a sector
The mothership has been used once to fully destroy a xenon sector and when the public found out all of argon prime were full of joy. They thought that they would be protected for many years to come but they were wrong as new events unfolded...
However the argon had the plans to build these Motherships so after nearly another 500 years the argon had created 24 more of these Motherships. They became avalable in the Argon shipyard in Argon Prime at a price of 655million credits.

I need:

a few modders :)
a couple of testers 8)
a person who can put this mod on the mods list in www.egosoft.com :D
some people who can manage to put the ship in the game :D :D

It would be nice but unfortunately the game engine restricts you to six turrets max although you can add more than four guns to the last turret added using x2editor.

If we have to have 6 turrets thats fine because you can still mount 4 on every one so we can get 24 turrets

uh... you mean 24 guns right? hehe but remember that the last turret you make in your scene file can have more than four guns assigned to it. Thats useful if you want to make a lot of guns on the front of a large ship just make the front turret last in your scene file and assign a bunch of guns to it.

I will gladly be a beta tester for your mod I've always wanted a mothership for my fleet



btw you didnt add the number of ships it can dock


btw2 if you want more then 5 ships it has to be a M1
(its impossable to override I think)

So am I in?

if you could make it a tl then it can hold more than 5 ships but im not sure how many guns

Note: you can add a many guns as you like and the same for shields on any M1/M2 so it wont matter if its not classed as a M1/M2

carefull when moding a lasertower weapon I would suggest just adding a new weapon with LT weapon specs

Note: I would try to port the LT weapon from the Top Gun Mod to your own and use it as a blue print

I'm not sure whether you can do this for X2 but I am almost positive you can for X3, anyway...

Instead of putting on ordinary weapons which we see in almopst everymod. Why not portable lasertowers. Basically imagine a smaller version of the lasertower which using a movement script [hopefully] would work by moving around the ships hull.

Well, that would be pretty cool, but I'm not sure i fit could work.

Imagine a huge mothership with 6 turrets and twenty lasertowers orbiting it, but the lasertowers would have a much more powerful weapon, that'd be way too cool!

Me personally I would remodel the lasertowers to give it a more unique affect.

So can it be done using move scripts and follow scripts?

:lol: So you basically want big, permanent fighter drones? all you would have to do is edit tships or tweapons or something (i don't know how to do this) but i would be happy to to do a little modelling for it, but i'm busy with X2 Pandora ATM, but i could fit in time if you send me the designs, click msn on my contact thing for my email :D
