What happens to my Mods, EMP, Ships if I install update 3.01

Post by timh1966 » Sun, 27. Aug 06, 20:04

Will I have to reinstall the scripts, ships, etc. after updating with this bonus materials download? If this is daft sorry, but enquiring minds want to know.

Will I have to reinstall EMP, LV cheats, cycrows scripts? If I need to do this, frankly what is the point?

The only real reason for this , is the fact when installed I won't have to put the damn disc in to run the game.

The scripts are already installed so what command slots do they use? If they interfere with any of the scripts from you guys I don't see any point in installing it.

Is this new ship any good?

And more to point is this a new class that we can add new ships to?

I run DDRS and a whole bunch of other scripts. No problems when I added the bonus pack. Give it as try. :)

Thanks mate, I'm tempted to install it, just so I can pack the disc away.

tthe bonus pack basically adds a set of scripts, so you dont need to uninstall any other scripts first, it should work by just installing the bonmus pack onto your current game

Thanks Cycrow, I'll install it tomorrow. I'm working on an idea for a ware, an energy reservoir, that will supply additional weapon and shield energy.

Like your shield batteries, but for weapons.

Would there be a way to work around it. Originally I thought a form of separate generator, that would mean giving up some cargo space as a sacrifice.

Ah well, if not, back to the drawing board. Thanks for the advice though.
