i was just getting owned by a khak cluster when suddenly i heard this message:
Hammerhead Missile, Destroyed
this proves that the game NPC rly does know the name of the Hammerhead but it only tells it when it is destroyed
The answer is just another question.

I don't know that much...

The only thing is that you actually don't know the name after it is selected in your main monitor...

I never heard a message about any missile being destroyed, only self-destructed. And when you install/remove hammerhead I still hear "unknown object" :sceptic:
