No roids, this is true. However sticking a complex in your home sector is a bad idea unless you want to lose ships or never stay in sector.
Your home sector is better off almost empty, bar ships, trust me.

I prefer to ssstick my HQ in the unknown sector next to getsssu fune. The Xenon in the sector next to it tend to keep away most of the insectsss who dare dissturb my RE and ssship building operations.
But that'ssss just me.

But you're basicly paying for empty space. No roids, no other stations (does GoD place stations in your sector?).
Well, if you want that, just use SectorTakeover... It's more fun and you can pick a sector with fat 'roids!
There are some nice pirate sectors between Argon and Teladi space.
Just make sure you've got good defenses, those Pirate Osprey/falcon counter attacks are a B!TCH!!!

My home has always been Montalaar. Just press L and the right cursor key. You get used to itAlas, 'Legends Home' is not the second L-word (after Light of Heart), it is only third. Have to press 'L' 'L' 'L' to get to "home".
