Gameplay Lottery winable.
Docking at a station people always try to sell you tickets. You should be able to buy multipul tickes and instead of the Jack pot being worth Billion why not make it worth millions with a higher win rate.

Performed a search and this was the newest topic on the lotto. A couple of days ago, I decided to play the lotto again and yesterday I got a message stating that 4 of my numbers were drawn and I received 526,xxx credits, so this is telling me it is winnable in X3 vanilla.
Transcend Mod Team - AP, TC, Reunion
...X3 Vanilla patched to version 2! Before that it was unwinnable.

I buy all lotto tickets that are offered (including the BBS Extra's winnable lotto). I get tickets offered for 2500cr and 10000cr (the 10.000cr ones are the BBS Extra's ones I think).
To date I've bought 27 tickets and won 0.
But the prices are ridiculous, because it's much more than your bank account can carry (only 2billion can be carried, but much much more can be 'won').
If you win something, it's probably because your ticket matches 2,3 or 4 out of the 6 (?) numbers, which yields a not that large price.
I've read, some time ago, a person winning about 400K with the lottery. I don't know if it was a BBS Extra's one though.
The best attitude would be to always buy them (not that expensive, appears not that often) and always expect to lose. That way, when you do win (after buying +200 tickets in 30 game days orso), you will win eventually....

There is a message in the game files about winning the big one, it says there is a 99.99% Tax! So it might fit fine.Fresshness wrote:But the prices are ridiculous, because it's much more than your bank account can carry (only 2billion can be carried, but much much more can be 'won').
But the big one might take a million years, real time.you will win eventually....
