Gameplay Lottery winable.

Post by Nathansalyer » Sun, 3. Dec 06, 03:25

Docking at a station people always try to sell you tickets. You should be able to buy multipul tickes and instead of the Jack pot being worth Billion why not make it worth millions with a higher win rate.

its like a real lottery, only with more numbers, but a higher prize draw, if they made it easier the game would become to easy for so mny people, however people have won amounts upto 900k... so be patient =)

Performed a search and this was the newest topic on the lotto. A couple of days ago, I decided to play the lotto again and yesterday I got a message stating that 4 of my numbers were drawn and I received 526,xxx credits, so this is telling me it is winnable in X3 vanilla. :)

...X3 Vanilla patched to version 2! Before that it was unwinnable.

I buy all lotto tickets that are offered (including the BBS Extra's winnable lotto). I get tickets offered for 2500cr and 10000cr (the 10.000cr ones are the BBS Extra's ones I think).

To date I've bought 27 tickets and won 0.

But the prices are ridiculous, because it's much more than your bank account can carry (only 2billion can be carried, but much much more can be 'won').

If you win something, it's probably because your ticket matches 2,3 or 4 out of the 6 (?) numbers, which yields a not that large price.

I've read, some time ago, a person winning about 400K with the lottery. I don't know if it was a BBS Extra's one though.

The best attitude would be to always buy them (not that expensive, appears not that often) and always expect to lose. That way, when you do win (after buying +200 tickets in 30 game days orso), you will win eventually....

Does the bug still exist where winning the lottery increases your trade rank?

I had heard of people randomly getting promoted to one of the top ranks, just after winning a huge lottery. Wanted to know if that's still around.

There is a message in the game files about winning the big one, it says there is a 99.99% Tax! So it might fit fine.

But the big one might take a million years, real time. :P

How much time passes between buying a ticket and being notified that you won?

I have no idea since I never won but I assume this:

You are notified before you are offered another lottery ticket. So I think it could be pretty fast.

I have never seen a screen shot of a win in the lotto so to date I remain unconvinced.

I've bought 227 tickets and not had a win yet. Money isn't really an issue for me anymore but it'd still be nice to win it once anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's with BBS Extra's (Cycrow) 3rd party script. either that or the Winnable Lottery (also by Cycrow).

Great, even at 10x that'll be 100,000 years real time - how long do you expect to live?
