System override software?

I recently purchased the "System Override software" put it on my M5 and am now stuck on how to use it
Can anyone help?

Hi-light the ship you want to claim....press "i" ............click on claim.

You'll need to be very close, depending on ship.

I have tried that but it doesnt come up , just attack details etc, do i need to enable something or take out thier shields?

It needs to be an abandoned ship with no pilot. Get in very close (usually less than 30 m) then do what Kipper said

lol.........I think you are trying it on active ships..........it only works on ships that have been abandoned
