Imperial Starliner (Ship PICs)
The Avis Imperium Starliner 'Turtle Class'
Wether youre leaving or going home,
The Tutle class starliner is the last word in cumfort and speed,
whatever system you measure your speed by Warp, Transwarp, Hyperdrive, Hyperwave, Slipstream, Wormhole, Spacefold, Distortion, Light, FTL, LDS, Jumpdrive, Ludicrous Drive it doesn't matter the Avis Imperial Turtle class starliner will probably do at leaste twice that

hi res/detail version http://www.error691.com/avis/pics/planet01.jpg
Planet and Starliner model consist of 13606 faces,
Planet and TL is made up of 149617 faces,
2 polys to a face (if im not mistaken)
basicaly the TL is how I used to do things but to be perfectly honest i don't think a home computer in existence can handle raytrace rendering and animating this in a reasonable timeframe, soo have started optimising my designs to make them more game/movie sequence friendly,
even this could easily be lowered to a fraction without much loss of detail
I'm finaly starting to feel cozy with 3Dstudio now for photorealisum on low polycount there is a pipedream

Any chance the liner will be flying through Warwickshire airspace?
If so could you please reserve one luxury double cabin and kenneling for two border collie's......the English weather is getting right up me nose at the moment....
Nice pic .....just been comparing/thinking of when you put your first renderings of ships on the forum....a few years ago now I think...quite a difference, looks like you're getting to grips with the 3d programs now eh!
