SOS device?

How do i use the SOS device so the System Override Software
wount appear on my ship when you are scanned?
Or where do i get it?

You have to get the scrambler to do that. It's in a bbs in pirate bases IIRC.

A: Go to a ship with no pilot wich is cappable and press information button when within 50 metres of the cap ship press claim to get it.

Q: wount appear on my ship when you are scanned?
As said you will need a scrambler foud on pirate bbs to mask it otherwise it is illegal.

A: Both of them on pirate bases the SOS in trade menu and scrambler in BBS.

can you have more than one scrambler device? or is it a one time buy from the bbs. (getting tired of transferring it around my ships) :)

if you are in a ship that doesnt jet have one yes if you already have one in your bay no of course you could try docking all your ships at that base with that bbs advert and try buying them all at once but i cant be sure it will work.
i do still wander though whats wrong with a small space walk every now and then :?

I love the thrill the absolute "exitement" of flying around in my space suit - from 200m away when i leave my perfectly good Hyperion to pick up a harrier - its adrenelin all the way - or na just plough through and turn on the windscreen wipers!

i once took my space suit to presidents end and flew round the station wrecks maybe ill do it again sometime :lol:

Q1. Aboard capital ships you can do that well in excess of 500m. I know, I collected ships this way. It wouldn't seem right to get a Titan right up to within 50 m of a fighter then claim it!
