Avarice auction ReadText error

I've just won the auction for Avarice, and I went to the Teladi trading station to finalize the sale. When I get there and dock, I get a message, but all it says is "ReadText 1404-8"

I'm using the retail version of X3 v2.0 with the Bala Gi missions inluded, with no additional patches, mods or scripts loaded. How badly am I boned, and is there a simple solution to plug in the missing message?

- Operating System: Windows XP SP2
- CPU, Opteron 180 graphics card BFG 7800GTx2 SLI, memory 2GB, sound system Audigy 2ZS
- game version: 2.0?
- Exact nature of the problem: ReadText 1404-8 in body of message for Avarice purchace
- sector location in the game and scenario: Avarice (Teladi trading station)
- type of game played, i.e. plot ot non-plot: Plot (main plot complete, Bala Gi plot complete up to purchace of Argon Trading Station)

Disregard previous. I just downloaded the 2.0 > 2.0.02 patch, and the readme covers this error.
