Got the message about two hours after buying the ticket in merchant haven while fetching the m7. I have a hunch the drawing happens fairly soon after buying a ticket.

I always buy when I can but I've never won.. I'm still drooling over that something-trillion-credit-jackpot I saw go by the other Tazura.. :wink:

Yes it is, and no it's not. I haven't heard of anyone winning the jackpot on the vanilla lottery, but people have won lower amounts like that.

IIRC 2.0.0.X lottery is winnable.

someone needs to patch mat. he doesn't seem to be up to date. ;)

The lotto has been winable since the 2.0 patch.

I run strait vanilla with just the current bonus pack installed. It's the only time I've won anything across three games and around 120 tickets bought.

The V2.0 patch added smaller prizes to the lottory, that pay off more often. :)

But the big prize is probably the same. Maybe win-able, but with odds like a real lottery. In other words, Zip-point-sh$t! A real player probably would win about every hundred years. :cry:

There are messages in the game database that say the big one was won, but there is a 99% Luxury Tax! :o

the jackpot prolyl works out close to 2 billion that you will win, the tax is so it will fit into your account ;)
