Can any one tell me how to use the SOS. Has anyone won the lottery??? I buy the tickets when they are available so far I have bought 50 odd. :o :?

Go play the lottery in real life, atleast you can win that. (albeit with extremely bad chances)

as for SOS, it is to claim ships from a distance (it's illegal too.)

I keep SOS + scrambler on my Raptor - drive-up claiming is pretty cool :)

(The range is considerably larger in an M1 - it's like 1.2 km.)

I'm about to use it on the Hyp in order to salvage guns from some bailed KM3 out in Kha'ak Sector #1 - you can forget about spacewalking in that place!

SOS: It just skips the spacewalk part of claiming a bailed ship. Effective range depends on the ship it's on. M3 ~50m and M7 around 150m. Capital ships are 1km - 2km.
