Tractor and Mobile Drilling

Hi guys,

Which ship can i buy that can accommdate a mobile drilling system AND a tractor beam emitter? I just bought a split miner thinking it could tractor asteroids but it can't :-(

You need at least an M6 to use a tractor beam

IIRC a centaur also can be fitted with mobile drilling rigs?

Anyway you can check at the shipyard by pressing i to call up info on each type of ship.

[EDIT] My mistake - the Xenon P can carry drilling rigs (God only knows why)

Also note that you can't tractor asteroids unless you first build a mine on them.

To expand on what pj said, you can only tractor stations and ships. Although there is a script in the S&M Forum that allows you to auto collect rocks if you have a transporter device installed. Might give that a try.
