The ships may be rubbish bit the weapons are not. The ai does not do this, but if you have a kyon laser, you can hold down the fire button for a steady beam. This simply shreds ships.. and is good for capping. IF we where able to use gamma ( and its a good thing we can not ) a player in a Kha'ak Destroyer would literaly be unstoppable. Killing cap ships and stations in seconds. I am of coarse assuming the gamma can be fired the same way as the beta and the alpha. If oyu have the lha'ak start unlocked.. give it a shot.. those kyons more than make up for the ships other failings.KipperTheFish wrote:ALL Kha'ak ships are rubbish, best to sell the Kyons and buy something that actaully poses a threat.
I used Cycrows HAT script to get a KM2... took 2 weeks to pull it off though.
With all 8 Pandora extensions, it goes over 200m/s, has 10GJ of shields, and kills everything.
Comparing a KM2 with any other M2 an you'll see it is much smaller, making it extremely easy for the player to dodge EVERY GPPC shot coming from a Xenon J/K.
I also had a KM1, which runs out of laser energy after 20 seconds and can't actually dock any ships.
