What happens if Avarice is sold before you buy it?

What happens if Avarice is sold before you buy it?

Hi, I was unable to bid on the sector 'Avarice' when it was at 615000000 simply because I didn't have enough credits - is there a point where I can bid on it again? I have the credits now, but it was sold already for something like 700000000!!

Any help appreciated!!

If it's already sold, then no (assuming you started your game in 2.0.02).

It's just empty space anyway :).

Spend all that money on a fleet and take the sector (or any sector) by force, much more satisfing than buying it.

Thanks all. I think I'll just pay the sector a visit with a not excessive at all fleet of 3 or 4 M1's and a good 50 or 60 M3's! Should be fun!
