Can't use beta flak on Pythons

I'm not sure what's going on, but for some reason the Python ship won't allow me to use beta flak cannons at all.

I have version 2.0.12 that i installed from a dvd, and then i put XTM on it with all the right installs. Not really sure what to do from here other than feel frustrated.

Two things: firstly, this should have been posted in the XTM tech support thread in Scripting and Modding. Secondly, I'm not going to move it there, because this is not a bug--the Split Python cannot mount BFLAKs in XTM. Not every ship can mount every type of gun.
