My universe seems to be short of AFLAK, can anyone tell me where I can buy an AFLAK factory?
Thanks.

The Boron stock those stations at one or more shipyards. Can't remember which, I think it may have been Dark Waters.

Just bought one myself...

Thanks.
I have tried half of the shipyards in the universe without success. I will have to search the other half.
Is there a script to help you find such things?

Not that I know of, but if you check out the Complex Calculator in the sticky, it has the sales locations of factories in that, I believe.

I think (but am not certain) that Sector Planner imports your entire game universe, explored or not. There's two options I remember, one is to view unexplored sectors (not used it), another is to locate a station (not used it).

Might be worth a look......

Just use Scorp's Map's search function :)

My universe is also low on AFAA, but now, with the help of Ashley's XXL fabs, I have a rather nice AFAA complex churning out more AFAA than I'll ever need, completely self-sufficient too, so it's 100% profit, only pity is that I can only sell them for average price sincce only equiptment docks buy them, but still thats somewhere in the region of 400K per AFAA and since my 4 XL AFAA fabs are producing 10 per cycle each.... I'll be in line for some rather nice profits if I ever decide to stop stockpiling them and acually sell, currently got about 200 in stock
Lead me not into temptation,
For I can find the way myself!

Ashleys Factories is a MOD and you will find it over in the scripting and modding forum........

Haven't used it myself, but the concept of giant fabs instead of sprawling complexes sounds a good idea............

I have a Split AFLAK factory in Family TKR, so I assume that I bought it either in sector or from Family NJY and had it shipped over.
Having said that, at the moment I hire my TLs rather than owning one, and do tend to have them treck half way across the universe as evidence I have a Split Computer Plant in Family TKR and as far as I remember that came from Family Rhy.

Ocean of Fantasy (6,258,664) and Family Tkr (6,589,776) sell them. They are the only two places in the vanilla, as far as I can see, and you need a good rep to buy them.

Boron version is cheaper, but it really depends on existing (food) infrastructure and rep - you need to be either 4/16 or even 3/16 to buy them IIRC :(

Is there a quick way of building up your 'rep' with the Boron?

The fastest is to donate many millions to them when you see a Boron charity BBS entry.

Other than that, you're "stuck" with the usuals: Missions, trade, killing their enemies in their space.

I now have Ashleys XXL fabs, can you tell me how many of each factory you used to make an AFLAK complex?
I have started to make an AFLAK complex and am having problems getting the balance right.
Thanks

Complexes

The complex calculation spreadsheet looks excellent, but does not appear to include Silicon mines, is that correct?
If so that is a pity as for many factories (especially Crystal fabs) that is a must.

The standalone version of the complex calculator definitely includes silicon mines, so I find it extremely hard to believe that the Excel version doesn't have them.
