X3 Reunion Updater 280707 for Mac OSX

Hi. I recently downloaded: x3_box_updater_280707 from the apple.com download page. It's supposed to address several issues but when the app. package instructed me to choose the X3 Reunion app. file, it told me that it can't update that version of the app.

I don't know if running the Bonus Package 3.1.07 has something to do with it. Otherwise, I'll have to do a clean install.

Has any of the Mac OSX players here have come across this problem?

Hi there. I have an 24" Intel iMac running X3 via Cider. I had to do a clean install, apply the TWO updates from vpltd.com for the boxed version then apply the expansion. I take it you mean the expansion pack from Egosoft and not the included Bala Gi expansion on the Mac X3?

Thanks for the reply, man. I was already thinking about reinstalling everything from scratch. Just have to back-up all the scripts I've downloaded in my game. But I'll have to double check the other update. I've only seen the recent update when I visited the apple.com downloads page.

By the way, when it was mentioned that it only applies for the boxed version of the game, it meant that it only applied to the X3 The Reunion game that was bought and shipped? Because my X3 game is a digital download from vpltd.com...

Unfortunately Egosoft didn't create the apple port of X³, so you'd need to contact the developers that did (and unfortunately, I cannot remember their name off-hand ).
