Doubleshadow's X3 Editor download link?

hey, anyone have a working link for doubleshadow's editor? The link in his thread is not working.
I decided that I think I'm going to see how easy it is to mod in this game compared to lets say...JK3. :D

Would appreciate this.

It is a resource mainly used in Modding as a Tool.

GOTO TUTORIALS and RESOURCES -> Modding -> Tools

ahh...the x3 editor at this link http://www.doubleshadow.wz.cz/x3e/index.php does not work. :shock:

Can someone confirm that the link works or not? It says unable to connect.

doubleshadows web site has been down since late late wednessday, might have been early thrusday (im running on PST)

Well, it could be because my security settings are most likely blocking me, or the router I have. This can be fixed either if I shut down my security on my router, or sometimes if there is another mirror hosted by another provider or service I can download from.

And thanks very much exogenesis, you will be my first prime when I conquer this forum.

Im trying to install the editor too, that mirror works :) but these runtime library thingies im not sure about. i downloaded something that i think was them from the microsoft site but the installer still says i dont have them..?

If you installed the right program, make sure to restart. About 70% of the time, the computer may require a restart. :wink:
